Amiki woke up early and yawned. Amiki got dressed into her black uniform and made a cup of coffee. Amiki wanted to teach her apprentices Yin and Kia something new today, something that would be a challenge. Amiki went outside and started pondering what she would teach them. Amiki sat down on the grass reviewing what she taught them, then she thought it would be a good idea to take it up a level. Amiki thought of the best way she could teach it, and then stands up. Amiki practices the technique and then sits down thinking "they should arrive soon!"

An arrow flies through the clearing nearly hitting Amaki. It flies into a hole in a nearby tree and goes partly through. The arrow was weakly enchanted with Light magic. Yin walks into the clearing to retrieve his arrow.
"!!!" Amiki! I'm soo sorry! Did I hurt you? I was just trying to warm up a little..." Yin looked all over Amiki in a flurry to make sure that she wasn't hurt. "Whooo! Yin sighs, "I thought I hit you; I'm glad your ok--"
Yin pauses for a moment and then leaps over toward the tree he had aimed for.
"Ahhh! I almost killed this poor little ladybug. Here you go."
Yin picks up the ladybug and lets it fly away before picking up his arrow and prancing right past Amaki, back in the direction of the place he was training in. Completely forgetting about the fact that he was here for a reason.

Kia apparates beside the tree, scythe in hand. She holds up the scythe to her face, squinting at it, and then slams the scythe into the tree. The tree splinters and emits a large 'CRACK' before crashing towards the ground. Kia holds her hand above her head and calls out "Timber!" the moment before the tree hits the ground. She giggles and skips around the ruins of the tree. "Timber, timber, the tree falls down! Kia! Kia! We all fall down!" Kia collapses in a heap of silk and satin from her dress. She raises her scythe, ready to finish the defenseless tree off, when she notices Amiki nearby. "Coffee cat!" She calls, whisking towards Amiki at mock speed.

Amiki chuckles and watches Yin run past her, she follows him to the training area. Amiki notices Kia bolting towards her "well hello Kia!" she says looking around to make sure Kia wasn't going to rip anyone apart nearby. Amiki glances at Yin and then at Kia "today we're going to learn something new, it will be a challenge but it will really help with your fighting skills". Amiki stretches her arms and then waits for them to get ready to start, today, she would teach them something new.

Yin looks at the tree and the cat who killed it.
"Ummmmmm, why did you kill that tree Kia? What-- did it-- ummm- ever do to--"
Yin drifts off, and then realizes that today WAS the day that they were supposed to meet for training. Yin knew he had neglected marking on his calendar, but there was a cobweb on the side of it and Yin was unsure whether or not the spider had vacated his home. Yin definitely couldn't have destroyed a little spider's home.. While Yin was thinking, he finally processed what Amaki said.
"Fighting? Am-- Am I going to have to fight-- ,Yin gulps, "Her?" Yin looks at the cat who almost killed him yesterday and thought of all the ways she could hurt him. Yin stopped; before anymore dark thoughts came to his mind.
Yin backed up a little bit and waited for Amaki to either save him from, or condemn him with, the torture of training. With Kia....

Kia grinned and slid her scythe underneath Yin's neck, letting it rest on his collar bone. She leaned in towards Yin's face and whispered sweetly. "You're going to die, and I'm going to dance on your grave. Heh heh!" Kia lowered her scythe and let it swing loosely as she whirled around. She skipped back to Amiki, singing "Yin is dead! Yin is dead!" She spun around in a small circle and sighed. "Coffee cat, is today going to be fun? If I kill Yin, it will be, right?" She stares at Amiki, her eyes wide and watery like a puppy begging for treats.

Amiki stared at Kia with concern "yes today is going to be very fun, eh.. just try not to kill Yin". Amiki looked at yin and then back at Kia. Amiki put her arms behind her back "Today, we will learn how to do magic combos without draining all your magic energy". Amiki held her hands up and two black orbs of shadow magic flared in her hands, she waited for Kia and Yin to do the same. Amiki stared at her apprentices proudly, knowing they would learn fast.

Kia didn't mean that did she? No... she couldn't have.. I--- think... Wait draining our magic? Yin put his hands in front of him; he was ready for this. He had been training all last night and this morning. He knew how to enchant weapons almost perfectly now, and he could form orbs in both hands. Yin didn't understand why the amount of magic it took to created stuff mattered, it barely even vexed Yin now.. Yin would love today's lesson.
Yin sat waiting for Kia to make her magic, he became entranced by the warm light of the Light magic. It was so pure, so weightless, Yin wished he could coat himself in light and play in it. That would be nice...

Kia giggled softly and casted a quick glance at Yin before holding up her hands. "Hey Yiiiiiiin!" She called in a sing song voice. She lifted her hands higher and created a shadowy little replica of Yin. The tiny chibi Yin walked about, whistling nonchalantly when suddenly the tiny Yin fell below Kia's hands, a scythe in it's back. Then, a cute little Kia skipped by and retreived her scythe. The end. Kia cleared away the shadowy puppet show with her hands and gave Yin a big grin. She pointed a finger at Yin and cleared her throat quietly. "I have shown you your death. Accept it or force me to kill you in a more," Kia pauses to lick her lips. "Delicious way."

Amiki looked at Kia and then at Yin, she nodded as she saw that they both had their magic orbs ready. Amiki walked over to a magic dummy and then turned to see if Kia and Yin had followed. "coming?" she asked just to make sure they knew to follow.

One. Just one. The amount of times Kia has made Yin shudder in fear just increased by one. Again. "Oh-- okay, um, I'm coming!" Okami sort of flutters over to the location of the dummy, disregarding Kia's rash statements.
Okami sees a butterfly flying through the air and is infatuated with it. "!!!" Okami gasps, "What is that?" Okami chases after it in enthusiasm but then turns back when it flies away. Awww it was soo pretty too...........Oh well!!

Kia apparates beside Yin and raises her scythe. In one swoop, Kia slices through the butterfly that failed to escape her shadowy weapon and brings it back down to present two halves of a butterfly resting on her scythe to Yin. She pretends to show off a sweet smile and skips after coffee cat, singing little songs that relate to butterfly massacre. She stands behind coffee cat and continuously presses her on what they will be doing specifically. "Soooo, explain to me what you mean. Will we kill stuff or just torture? Oh! What about Yin? Can we use him as a test subject?" Kia begs at coffee cat's feet in fake drama that she have the opportunity to lock Yin in a room filled with man-eating butterflies. But, to her dismay, Kia knows that this can never be so. Because butterflies will only eat you if your dead. Oh, how Kia wanted Yin to feel the pain of the tiny nectar-sucking butterfly mouths. But she supposed that death with butterflies would have to replace her dream of Yin's death by butterflies.

Amiki gets her arms ready and does and simple 3 hit combo with her magic. Amiki's arms slashed flaring shadow magic around the hits, her hits were lightning fast. Amiki looked at Yin "why don't you try something like that" she says "then I will tell you how to do it without draining magic." Amiki thought that this would be a good lesson, in the future the young Felines would need it.

It's hot outside, that's got to be it right? Yin was sweating because it was hot; there's no way he would cry over a "butterfly" was there? Yin looked back and forth between Kia and the poor bereft creature that lied in pieces before him. Yin, to say the least, was not enthused. Yin tried to get the thought of the poor things death out of his mind, along with all of the wretched thoughts Kia gave him, to his own dismay.
Yin walks over to a dummy, and reproduces the combo, light magic flows from his hand like water, so pretty, Yin thought. The amount of magic it used to do so took more magic than the other spells, but Yin could handle it, he hopes.
