Although optional, magicians may also have what is called a Summoning Creature. This beast can come in many different forms, whether it be a dragon, a phoenix, a wolf, whatever. to control a Summoning Creature, the magician must either have a way of forcing the creature onto his side, or have a bonding contract with it. It is possible to break the contract either by both members of the contract consenting to it, or via a unbinding spell. Once a Summoning Creature is yours you may summon it in one of two ways.
Using a summoning spell is one way. This way is very uncommon because it is basically using weak space time magic, which takes and incredible amount of time to master and an incredible amount of magic to use.
The second way is much more practical, using a summoning crystal. A summoning crystal is a crystal that is formed when a bond is made between creature and magician. They may also be artificially made, although doing so is difficult(reasons for one to do so is if the original crystal shatters for some reason. It is also possible for one to bond summoning crystals to inanimate objects, such as boulders, pre-created spells, plants, ect. for battle purposes. Mastering such skills take much time.
