Eclipse follows all the wolves to the training ground, she notices Bain walking at the same level as her. Eclipse nods a greeting, "Oh, well ok I've never been to the training grounds." Eclipse tries not to blush, she notices Spec pushing through "oh, well it's-" Eclipse decides to slow her pace and stay out of the two wolves quarrel. Eclipse looks at the trees and then jerks her head back when Spec brushes his tail across her pelt. "Oh! Maybe I have some new friends!" Eclipse was more excited for training now, she might make some friends.

Bain growls back at Okami and continues on towards the training grounds, ignoring Eclipse. He trots through the forest for a while until he arrives at the training grounds, his anger building up with each step he had taken. Spec already has Sear and there will always be more females. Bain huff's, digging his claws into the earth. It's not my fault there aren't many young faes in the pack right now. He pads over to the sandy dips in the ground and settles down, waiting for Kora to start showing them fighting techniques. Sear pads over to Bain and flops dow n, looking excited. "I can't wait to start the matches! Can you?" Bain turns his head away Sear, his ears drawn back. "Go away." He growls. Sear inches back, confused. "What's up with you?" Bain whips his head back around to face her. "Spec is what's up with me!" He snaps. Sear rises, trying to get some distance between the two of them. "What, did Spec mess with you too much?" Sear asks quietly. Bain rises and moves farther away to a new sandy area. He flicks his tail, warning Sear silently to stay away.

Okami bounds over to Sear's spot. He plops down. Okami reminisces his battle with Sear. Thinking of her battle style. Did Okami really want to fight Sear in front of Spec... If she lost to Okami, wouldn't like her even more.. but if she lost to Eclipse.... "Do you really like Spec, Sear? He likes Eclipse.. if you knew, that 's what Bain meant.. Bain likes her too. But Spec wouldn't allow it. Seems you've got competition now Sear. I wish you good luck." Okami tried to give a caring smile amidst the noise in his head.
Okami walks over to Eclipse. He plops down similarly. "I hope you aren't actually interested in those two. They aren't exactly..... kindhearted. Also.. about Sear... Oh never mind! You'll do fine......It's not like you should be worried... or anything.." Okami lightly taps Eclipse's nose. Okami walks back over to Sear and nudges her. The nudge was just Okami's quick greeting, but Okami never realized how soft fur could be. The visions faded, for just a moment. Who would've thought a moment could be so long, and yet so short.

Eclipse sits down and stretches her paws, she notices Okami coming her way "hello Okami!" Eclipse paws the sand "Oh, them? I really think I should be focusing on training. Maybe they want to be friends!" Eclipse was very determined on training, right now she didn't care about any male wolves. Eclipse crosses her eyes and flinches when she gets tapped on the nose, she watches Okami leave "ok, bye!" Eclipse yells after him and then gets up, she stretches once more and then gets ready for training.

Kora clears her throat and begins the training. "Now, when fighting, we will be using the same point system as always. The object of the fight is to gain three clean hits on your enemy. The first apprentice to hit their opponent three times will be declared the winner." Bain rolls his eyes, finding himself very bored while Sear stares at Okami, shocked at the things that he had just told her. "First, we will learn some ways to defend ourselves, then some tactics on striking your opponent, and then we will start the tournament." Sandstorm pads to the front of the group and gestures towards the left side of the training grounds. "Anyone who wants to work on their defensive skills, join me over here." Thresh shoulders his way to the front of the crowd and begins to pad towards the right side of the training grounds. "If your looking to work on your strength, this is the place." Thresh calls in a melancholy voice. Sear races for Sandstorm with excitement while Bain stands between the two mentors, slowly deciding which of the two to go to. After a minute, Bain slowly migrates to Thresh, who flattens his ears at the realization that he will have to train these wolves.

Okami follows Sear to Sandstorm. These were Okami's two favorite wolves. Okami needed to be defensively with Bain anyway. Okami eyes Eclipse wondering where she will head. He looks at Sandstorm and wants to unload; tell him everything that's been flowing through his head. Now, however, was not the time. Okami sits patiently awaiting his instructions while inconspicuously watching Brain's every move. Seeing how Bain attacks will be very important in how Okami fights.

Eclipse perks her ears up, and then looks around "which one do I choose?" Eclipse looks at everyone else, she glances at Omaki and then pads over to Thresh "Maybe I should choose a different subject as him." Eclipse was anxious to work on her strength, she sits down anxious to learn. Eclipse glanced at some of the other wolves wondering if she should say anything, maybe they would talk first if so.

Sandstorm greets the two apprentices and flicks his tail towards Sear. "I am going to attack you. Dodge me until you can defend yourself against me." Sear blinked in surprise at the harsh way of training that was being suggested then shrugged. Sandstorm leapt towards Sear's head with outstretched arms. Sear grinned and easily ducked down beneath Sandstorm's claws. Sandstorm landed just behind Sear and turned on one paw to face Sear's back. Sandstorm reared up and smacked Sear's back, forcing her to the ground. Sandstorm raised his paws off of Sear's back and padded back to Okami. "The trick is to always have your eye on the opponent. If you can always see your attacker, then you can always defend yourself." Sear rose, some bits of sand still stuck to hr muzzle and grinned. "Next time, I'll block every one of your attacks." Sandstorm nods silently and turns to Okami. "Dodge me." Sandstorm races towards Okami at full speed, his head ducked down as he moves. Show me what you've got, Okami.
Thresh stretches out his legs and yawns. "Alright, someone attack me. And hurry up with it, too. I wanna get this over with." Bain moves almost instantly. He races towards Thresh and gives a small leap towards Thresh's chest. Thresh steps aside, griping about how early it is. Bain lands a little ways behind where Thresh once stood. He rises from the ground, growling. "Why don't you take this seriously, Thresh?" Thresh stops mid-grumble and turns his body to face Bain. "Oh? You want me to be serious, huh? Alright." Thresh rockets towards Bain, only visibile every three milliseconds. His paws land square on Bain's chest, pushing the startled apprentice back a few feet before sliding through the sand. Thresh steps off of Bain and walks back to his previous spot, his tail wrapped neatly by his paws. He looks over at Eclipse and barks. "You want to mouth off to me too?" Thresh turns his head away and sighs. "Alright, before you go over there to help him back to his senses, why don't you attack me. Except, think it through. He didn't and you see what happened to him." Thresh laughs and closes his eyes, thinking about different things that were amusing about the current situation.

Okami watches as Sear dodges Sandstorm's attack, and then get hit from behind. Wow both Sear and Sandstorm are really cool!! Okami glances over towards Thresh's corner again, before realizing that Sandstorm was beginning Okami's training. Okami dodges to the left, avoiding Sandstorm's quick charge. Okami's fur lightly brushed against Sandstorm's when he passed. "Wow, Sandstorm! You're fast huh?" Okami slides behind Sandstorm in one motion after dodging making sure not to let his guard down. Okami swiftly runs toward Sandstorm and gives him a gentle tap of the paw. "But are you fast enough?" Sandstorm moves quickly, I won't be able to out-dash him that much, I'll just have to dodge... Okami takes a few steps back and gets ready for another round of training.
Okami wonders if Sandstorm would go easy on us, or if he would push us on for the same reason. Okami also thinks of Bain. Okami wants to glance over toward Thresh's corner again, but decided not to, to make sure Sandstorm didn't make use of such distractions.... And if the distraction of Bain wasn't enough, the flashes were becoming more pronounced again. Okami hopes he could last out..

Eclipse steps forward "should I go first?" Eclipse thinks about it and then looks around, no one was going. "I'll go first." Eclipse says it trying to sound confident, or, maybe she was. Eclipse paws at the sand and then sits down wondering what Thresh will do. Eclipse waves her tail on the ground brushing across the sand, she was excited and anxious to try.

Sandstorm whirls around and stops, facing Okami. He takes a few steps a few quick steps to the left, the bolts towards Okami. His paws slide across the sand as he runs, then they travel high into the air Sandstorm leaps a few feet in front of Okami. Sandstorm begins to descend back to ground just above the sandy brown apprentice. "This should do the trick!" Sandstorm calls as he plummets down towards Okami.
Thresh opens his eyes, surprised. "Well, are you gonna attack me or not?" He shakes some bits of sand that cling to his fur and yawns. "Hurry up, I don't have all day." In the distance, Bain slowly rises to his feet. His head hangs loosely over his shoulders, and his paws have trouble keeping balance on the sand. "Thresh turns his head back to look at Bain with a slight smile. "Oh? Look who's up from his nap." Thresh chuckles. Thresh turns his attention back to Eclipse. "Let's get this over with. Attack!"

Okami smiled. Now This is practice! Okami wanted to use the trick he had thought of, but he was saving that for the real battle.. Okami had to think fast now, !!, Got it! Okami put all of his weight on his front left paw and kicked the ground at an angle so that his body spun. Now the only thing in Sandstorm's line of attack was Okami's paw. Okami quickly pushed off the ground with his paw and got his footing. Okami then proceeds to leap onto Sandstorm, only to let go after a quick bite.
Okami wondered if he did okay. Was that fair? I hope I didn't hurt Sandstorm, I didn't want to... Okami then waits for Sandstorm's response, shaking off any thoughts of failure.

Eclipse scuffs up dirt and then gets ready to attack. Eclipse looks at Thresh and decides to attack from the side, she bolts for him and tries to swipe his side, she then turns around and looks at him ready for anything. Eclipse looked at his paws and then at his face, wondering what he would try.

Sandstorm glances up at Okami and grins. "Never stay on someone's back for too long." Sandstorm cranes his neck and grabs Okami's paw, keeping him from leaving Sandstorm's back. Sandstorm rolls over like a submissive pup, attempting to flatten Okami. Sandstorm lightened the grip on Okami's paw, but continued to keep it in his grasp. "Despite the current situation that you're in, I think you're doing really well." Sandstorm said in a muffled voice. Sandstorm lowers his gaze from the sky to Okami's paw and frowns. Sandstorm quickly spits out Okami's paw and rolls over to his feet. "Good job. Sear, let's go again!"
Thresh glances down at his side and laughs. He shakes his head from side to side while beaming a large smile and sighs as his laughter begins to fade away. "If that's all the strength you can use to hit me then you can just forget beating Sear!" Thresh barks, still smiling. "I am a wall. If you want to win, you'll have to break the wall with force." Thresh motions to his side. "That attack? I didn't even feel it!" Thresh straightens up and takes a step back. "Now, show me what you've got. I want to see some strong attacks, or else you'll just end up staying the weakest apprentice forever."

"Okami is dumbfounded by Sandstorm's skill.."You sure are good Sandstorm" He did say I was okay. I hope I do okay! Okami waits for Sandstorm's instructions. Okami watches Eclipse as she trained. He wondered how she would fair in their battle... Okami didn't know whether he wanted Eclipse to win to make his victory easier, or if he wanted Sear to win, as a friend...... Okami tried to keep thinking, it made it easier to cover up his.... problem..
