In addition to the Nature Affinities, there are the Ethereal Affinities; they are called so because they are harder to control, and, as a result, harder to grasp as a whole. They all have relation to each other which is hopefully explained in the attached diagram. These are the characteristics and Super-Affinities of each.
Light: Those who can control Light magic have access to healing spells, which are few and far between. Light magic displays itself in two ways(one of which must be chosen); either in its physical state, using actual light in battle, or in its spirit state, which is utilizing the good inside someone's heart as the basis of magic. The Super-Affinity of Light is either Rainbow or Life depending of the choice of Light. Rainbow for physical, Life for spirit.
Natural: Natural Magic is said to have originated from Light. A Natural Magic user can develop the ability to absorb magic from his opponents. The Super-Affinity of Natural magic is unknown.
Crystal: Crystal Magic is the type of magic a magician uses when in control of an Ancient Crystal(Ancient Crystals will be covered in another thread).
Aura: Aura magic required less magic to be used than All other types of magic. The Super-Affinity of Aura is unknown.
Dark: Those who can control Dark magic have access to spell which leech or utilize Life energy. Dark magic displays itself in two ways(one of which must be chosen); either in its physical state, using the lack of light in battle, or in its spirit state, which is utilizing the evil inside someone's heart as the basis of magic. The Super-Affinity of Dark magic is either Absence or Death depending on what the choice of Darkness is. Absence for physical, Death for Spirit.
Shadow: Shadow magic is said to have originate from Dark magic. Shadow spells give the user access to sealing spells. The Super-Affinity of Shadow magic is Shade magic.
Beast:Beast magic is the type of magic used when in complete control of a Spirit Beast(Spirit Beasts will be covered in another thread).
Celestial Magic makes use of the heavenly bodies. Celestial magics do not have known Super-Affinities.(may not be chosen as primary Affinity)
Solar: Solar magic utilizes the power of the sun star(each planet has a star placed by magic which orbits the planet)of the planet that the user is on. Solar magic is stronger during the day than at night.
Stellar:Stellar magic utilizes the power of all nearby stars.
Lunar: Lunar magic utilies the power of the moon or moons of the planet that the user is on. Lunar magic is stronger during the nighttime than during the day.
Universal Magic gives the user the ability to control the very fabric of space, time and gravity. Universal magics do not have known Super-Affinities.(may not be chosen as primary Affinities)
